Prescient Dream From 2015

(Sunday, July 27, 2025) waxing crescent moon Virgo / tarot five of pentacles

I am reading old dreams to get me started on my folk/fairy tales. One dream from 2015, “Bonnie Mitsch, Good Witch Of The North,” suddenly feels highly prescient. It is a very long dream, and towards the end I am having a conversation with Paul and one of his friends:

I sit in the kitchen for awhile and talk with the two men. My awareness is dulled, I am not able to understand the full conversation, though I try very hard to concentrate. It’s almost like there is a veil between us that distorts speech and comprehension. Paul’s friend seems skeptical or impatient of my difficulty.

Paul has Alzheimer’s, a form of dementia. This dream seems to be a clue about my upcoming aphasia, my diagnosis of semantic dementia (struggling with words). Many times Victoria has mentioned that dreams are precognitive. It is important to review them, often.

It is curious that Paul’s friend is skeptical or impatient. I am not sure at all what that means, or who he is. Bonnie’s comment is “Wow, a modern fairy tale!”

  1. I wonder if Paul’s friend is a part of you who is impatient/frustrated with yourself. I thought that aphasia is where speaking is the challenge, but understanding what is said is not?
