Brown Spinning Wheel

(Saturday, September 12) new moon Libra

It is the dark cosmos on earth, a description of the lighting that often occurs in my dreams. It feels like daytime, but there is no sun, no moon, no stars that are visible to me.

I am outdoors with a large, generous community. Part of the long dream is interacting with children. I have forgotten that dream element as well as another part I recalled when I woke up. At this point I do remember standing in a circle with people. A medicine wheel? We are holding a brown, maybe thick cardboard circle in our hands and spinning together. The brown circle not only spins, but it twists a little up and down. It is a flexible surface. I mention my published book to everyone, which surprises me when I wake up. It is a thick and somewhat famous book. Not anything I would ever expect in my waking life.

Day notes:

I am thinking about going to the Mendota powwow this weekend. There are two medicine wheels nearby that I would often visit when I worked in Eagan.

Susan’s dream group is Monday. I am considering bowing out soon, as my memory is in decline. Her dreamers are much sharper than I am these days.
