Yesterday I was working to find new hinges for the old hopper basement windows I am painting. I tried Grainger Industrial Supply in Bloomington. They sent me up to New Hope, to Twin City Hardware. Twin City told me to go to Alco Service and Supply in Minnetonka. Alco is just off of K-Tel and Shady Oak, said the rep.
At Alco I met with a friendly employee who had exactly the hinges I needed. We chatted a bit and he said he used to live in Tangletown, on 48th and Harriet, three blocks away from my Rustic Lodge house. As I was driving away, toward Excelsior Boulevard, I saw Shady Oak. I had forgotten that Twin City mentioned the street Bonnie often dreams about. Her childhood home was along Shady Oak. So I thought a lot about Bonnie. And she called me five minutes later!
Lovely to have a waking synchronicity with Bonnie AND to meet with Kelsi in a recent dream.
