10/3/12 The Magic Stick (12:30 a.m.)

I am with my cousin, Jill. I think I pick her up after I clean out the garage. There is a specific place in the garage that is “haunted.” I have a stick of sorts that is short. Looks like one of Paul’s small drift wood sticks. This garage is also Shady Oaks (childhood home’s). It is very cleaned out and has more cement and is lighter-like it is a garage from a new home. I play with getting the stick to open the garage door. (Jill and I are inside the garage with the garage door down). I move it up and down and back and forth. It doesn’t work. (thought I think I am pointing it at the door that goes into the house instead of the garage door) Jill is anxious. she says, “Let’s go”. I drop the stick and it moves on its own. I get it and move it so the door opens.

Next scene. We are far away (1/4 mile?) There are lots of pine trees. I think it is getting dark out. I move the sick and say “open”. I keep moving it in a directions. I think that it is not working because it isn’t pointed exactly at the garage door (too far away and the trees hide it to make sure it is pointed exactly in the right direction). I then say, “It doesn’t work this far away.

Feeling: happy and afraid.

6/30/23 At High School

I am going to high school. I look at a map to figure out how to walk there.

I observe three kids (in the school): two girls and a boy. Then there are two “cads” who try to “pick up” the younger, blond girl. The three kids have to get fingerprinted, but first they have to meet with a teacher. I find the classroom of the teacher, but I am not sure it is the right one.

6/24/23 Getting Immigrant Children Away From the Authorities

I am getting immigrant kids away from the border so the authorities won’t catch us. They have already crossed the border. I am an observer as well as part of the action. I look at the map on my phone with a boy around 12 years old. We are looking for a route where we can take to get away and not get caught. It is a small group of kids -10ish. I think all around end of elementary age-both girls and boys. By looking at the map, we see that taking the northern route would be the best. The route is north of where we are, but the route goes east and west. We are going to go west.

There is a woman who is measuring the kids for clothes. They will wear bright yellows and oranges-T-shirts and hats.
