Fragment: Black Bees

(Saturday, June 3, 2023)

I am lying in an upper floor bedroom. In my dream I cannot move my legs, a bit like sleep paralysis. I can talk and move my arms. I see a few black bees and I swoosh them with my blanket. Then I see that they are swarming in a corner of the ceiling near me. A hive? I panic and call Chris to help.

Day notes:

I found a black bat in my basement on Thursday. It was laying in a bucket so I put it outside. It flew away. It was a bit of a panic. I surely do not want to find more bats!

Broken Door

(Friday, June 2, 2023)

This dream takes place near a river or lake, in a rural area. Chris has a white pickup truck, like our old Nissan Frontier. He is driving near the shore, on the land, not on a road. I am in the back seat of the truck and I feel safe. Both doors are closed. The passenger door next to Chris is missing. I worry about his safety. He could fall out of the open, broken door, or something could fly in and injure him. He is unconcerned and considers himself a good driver.

Prescient: Sink Holes And Neighbors

(Friday, June 2, 2023)

This morning I dreamt the city was doing a lot of repairs and projects. My son was in the front yard, taking good, detailed notes. The workers started digging a deep channel (sewer level) from the street into our front yard, ending at the front door. This was unexpected.

I noticed our neighbors had work being done on their stucco house, so I walked over to ask Kristin about it.

In real life, today:

There are two new street sink holes in south Minneapolis. One is just a few blocks away (43rd and Pleasant). They could be affected by sewer issues.

I was coming back from grocery stores (four of them!) and my neighbor from the dream was standing in the street, talking to a friend in a small car as I passed by.
