Journal: Pathway

I have been reading Machiel Klerk’s beautiful book “Dream Guidance” and working on his dream incubation process (1. create a symbolic ritual, 2. state your case and include an offering and/or sacrifice, 3. meditate in bed).

Stating my case, creating a question for the incubation: “My tall, wise male dream guide, my daimon: what is the percussive calling for my new life? My most important journey?” Obviously, that question is too long, but as I was thinking about it, my Cinderella Slipper dream came up and I wondered if I already have an answer. “The sole is raw clay.” A soulful journey with Mother Earth. Focus on dream art is an old mission but now I have much more time for it. We’ll see what the dream says, if I get an answer.

8/9/23 Three Dreams: Three Art Pieces, Three kids,Flooding in the Basement

Linda Barber is creating three pieces of wall size art. They are all on the floor. She works on one piece and then another. Each one is about 1/5th done. The designs look like mosaics, however, she is painting the designs. Linda and her husband just bought a funky cottage. I think the art will go in there. I say I want a cottage!

2. There are three children; two boys and a girl. It is raining. They are locked out of their house. They all get wet, but it is fine. The girl is a free spirit.

3. There is some flooding in the basement. There are two rooms in the basement and it is the farthest room that has about one to two inches of water in it. Paul and I had been cleaning out the basement because we are moving. There are some things in the basement; some furniture, boxes, etc. randomly placed in the room. I am disappointed about the water. Paul doesn’t seem to be upset.

8/6/23 Two Dreams: Cleaning up a Room and Looking for a New House with Paul

I am cleaning up a room in a construction site. Two workers paint a door on the outside. It is a metallic shade of pink. I like it. It needs two coats.

2. I am looking for a new house with Paul. We drive around and at the end we happen upon one.
