Waking Dream: No Sender, No Subject

(Friday, July 25, 2014) New moon in Cancer

In the middle of the morning I checked my gmail account from my iPhone. An email had arrived that was from “No Sender” and had “No Subject.” It was dated 12/31/69. I clicked on the entry but it did not respond. I could not move it, delete it or alter it in any way.

When I looked at my emails again later in the day, the phantom message had completely disappeared. I found myself wondering if it was from 1969, or from 2069 …

Wolf Window

Last week I dream a wolf is looking in my open bedroom window. The window screen is made of fabric, not metal, and he tears it away with a casual swipe of his paw. There is no screen, no veil, no barrier between the two of us as we stare into each other’s eyes. I am unsettled, but he presents me with no threat. We see, and we breathe, together.

Day notes:

I’ve been too busy to record this dream until now and have remembered only fragments of other dreams following this one. When I have a power dream I don’t seem to be able to move on to other dreams until I write it down. Give it attention and respect.

I most often dream of cats. I don’t recall ever dreaming of wolves. Of course wolf brings tremendous symbolic richness and spiritual dimension.

Grey Stone House

(Thursday, July 10, 2014) Full moon (97%) in Sagittarius

Chris and I have a small apartment on the ground floor of a large multistory house. It’s a new house, a very grand house made from rough-hewn stones of grey granite. The granite sparkles with flecks of mica.

We discover that we are the owners of the whole structure, not just the apartment, so we go up the stairs to explore. Chris falls in love with the house. Being from an affluent Chicago suburb he was raised with the expectation of some day owning such a home. I was raised working class. It is more house than I require. But I do admire the craftmanship and beauty of the construction. It is solidly elegant, not just another MacMansion cranked out by greedy contractors – one would need significant wealth to afford such a house.

We can see that the upper floor is being lived in by a second family, another set of owners. They too love the house. I am confused about the issue of occupancy, but the confusion is never clarified in the dream. Chris is unworried.

We head down the stairs and walk outside. Members of the other family, two young black girls in pink dresses, watch us from inside the house.

Day notes:

Hmm, don’t know. Perhaps this is about entities from different dimensions (multiple levels) sharing the same space. Only children and sorcerers would be cognizant of the situation!
