Synchronicity: White Pup

(Wednesday, September 9, 2026) new moon Leo

This morning, driving to speech therapy at North Memorial, I saw a tiny white puppy in the front yard of a house on Lyndale Avenue. With no leash. The little one dashed across the street and seemed to me completely lost. I sent prayers for him/her to stay safe and find its way home.

Then, during therapy, an image was shown to me on an iPad. A white puppy! The dream I posted yesterday had a scene with three dogs.

Kelsi And Louis And Kissing Pups

(Tuesday, September 8, 2026) waning crescent moon Leo

My mood is cheerful and extroverted. I own a very long one-story house full of visitors, friends. Green, grassy nature is outdoors. People make appointments to meet with me. At around 10 am someone is coming with a distinctive name I remember in the dream but am not sure of now. Perhaps Guillermo (a former coworker I still message with on LinkedIn).

I stand close by the front door, waiting for my attendee. I can see the room they will use for the appointment. Surprisingly, my old boss Louis enters at 10 am. He is very tall (6 foot 3 inches in waking life) and wearing casual management clothing. One of his daughters is with him. He is stern, not his usual emotional presence, so I leave him wander on his own. The other visitor doesn’t appear for me, but perhaps because Louis has arrived at the critical moment, I miss Guillermo’s entrance.

There is an outdoor scene in the dream, maybe a noon-time walk, which I always did when I worked in Eagan with Louis and Guillermo. I hike on a lovely path where three dogs greet me. They are different breeds. One has curly black fur. They all jump up and kiss me on my cheek.

When I arrive back in my longhouse, I talk about sculptures. On an outer front wall are three large cartoon-style metal spheres with big smiles. At this point in the dream Bonnie’s daughter Kelsi is visiting. She is not interested in the childlike cartoons. She wants to see the more artistic, deeply creative sculptures, of which there are dozens inside the roofless interior courtyard. We stand together and prepare to walk together to the gallery.

I think there is a small moment when words pop up within the dark interior of my brain. Many more elements of the dream occur. But this is all I recall.

Day notes:

Two former coworkers just found new jobs, and my guess is they are in their late fifties. Both are healthcare-related employments. Good for them!

My “sculpture project” right now is painting and fixing wood and drywall downstairs. A very hard project as nothing in the room has been touched in decades. The work is stressful but it will create a pleasant art studio for me in a few months. I’ll have to hire someone to do the ceilings. Carpet One in Bloomington will cover the asbestos tiles with new, safer tiles.

8/29/26 I Lose my Dad

My dad comes to visit. I have homework I have to do. I tell my dad that I don’t want to have to do all of it later. I do some of it. He is tired and needs to rest.

We go in the car. I am driving. I cannot remember where I booked a place for Dad to stay. We pull into an area where there are two RV’s parked, while I try to figure it out. A man comes and says we can’t park there. We drive some more.

Now we are in a large garage. There is a mechanic working on an old, large car. There are two parked motorcycles on the car’s right. I don’t think I can drive through them to get through and out of the garage. A man directs me. Then a guy drives off on the motorcycle to the far right. I follow him. He and then I go through the garage door. It automatically opens when we get close.

Next we are at this large complex with lots of people. We are on foot. Somehow we get separated. I go up on an escalator and Dad takes the one going down. There are lots of people on the elevators. A woman wants to give me these thin, plastic “sticks” and I say no. I get off on the top floor. There are rooms with different catagories of things. (I can’t remember what they were when I awoke). I worried about Dad and finding him.

Feeling: overwhelmed

I worked this dream with Susan and Bryn. Here is what I wrote: My father has come to visit-my “familiar” male. At the end of my dad’s life, I did take the lead. He lived eight days after his stroke. I think this dream has to do with what I am going through with Paul. I am relying on that same energy I had with my dad before his death. Finding a place for Dad/Paul is something in the future in waking life. Not remembering where I booked a place maybe has to do with not knowing where this will be. The man says I cannot park where two RV’s are parked is saying this is not a “fun” time or a carefree way to look at this. The garage-fixing an old car. Car=Paul? Two motorcycles parked with a narrow way through. Motorcycles are individual ways of going through life. They could represent Paul and I. A male energy shows me the way through and out of the garage. At the mall (being malled?) with lots of people(overwhelming). The woman with the straws could represent how Paul will become-low cognitive. I am resisting this. Dad goes down the escalator=Paul’s decent into Dementia? I go up. The three rooms with organized categories could represent having things arranged for both of us in the future.
