Synchronicity: Cards

Yesterday I visited my financial advisor and stored my driver’s ID and credit card in the back pocket of my jeans.

This morning Cullan told me he found someone’s ID and credit card on the sidewalk near our house. The ID is from New York. He looked her up and tried to contact her. She is a poet. I told him to drop the cards off at the police station.

After our conversation, I went to the closet to get my laundry basket. I was shocked to see my ID and credit card laying on the top of a dresser inside the closet. I had forgotten to take them out of my pocket . They must have fallen out when I put my jeans on a hanger.

A minor event, but paying attention to synchronicity seems to make it more and more prevalent.

Journal: Gifts

An astrology YouTuber I often listen to talked about the Venus/Jupiter conjunction at 14 degrees of Cancer, which occurred on August 12. My ascendant is at 13 degrees Cancer so I wondered if it would have a financial benefit for me. This weekend I got my biggest Mayo payment (from the phase 1 study) and yesterday I got an email from the state. I applied for an e-bike rebate offered by Minnesota and it was approved! $750 toward my e-bike, yay! Cullan is going to help me shop.

This morning I noticed another video, this one by an English doctor I like, Dr. Rangan Chatterjee. He says journaling at least 5 minutes per day benefits your brain.

8/7/25 Two Dreams: 1. Path. 2. A Religious Group

  1. (very abstract). There is a path. There are two spaces for each step; one on top of the other.

2. There is a “religious” group who want everyone to swim a certain way. A woman demonstrates how to do this. It looks like the butterfly but without using arms. (dolphin kick). I watch while sitting in a crowded auditorium.

I then meet a family. I lie to them saying I do not smoke when I do.

I am then leaving. But first I go to each room of this house. It is like Shady Oak upstairs. I fold blankets. Laura and John stayed in a room and left some things there. They are small Christmas presents, etc. People will hide when people from the religious group come through. Because I am cleaning up it will look like everyone already left.

Day Notes: I am reading a “boundary” book called You Don’t Owe Anyone. It is very good. I wonder if this dream is my ego’s reaction re changing and practicing better boundaries.
