(Tuesday, February 17, 2026) new moon solar eclipse in Aquarius
Driving along highway 55 today on the way to my acupuncture appointment, I saw a huge Red-tailed Hawk in the sky, on the right side of the road. It quickly descended onto the snowy shoulder. A synchronicity story we discussed on Sunday with Cindy’s group was about hawks. Pam has a painting of a hawk behind her in Zoom meetings. It is unusual to see hawks in the winter, especially as close as this one was.
Hawk is the second animal in “The Medicine Cards,” after eagles. We did discuss eagles too. I mentioned that Wabasha, Minnesota, is said to have the most eagles in the country. Hawk is “Messenger of the Sky,” akin to Mercury.
