Thursday, June 20, 2019 (waning gibbous moon Aquarius / tarot Tower)
I’ve been traveling with Bonnie, which is always relaxing and fun. Our destination is a retreat center full of happy people. When it’s time to leave, we hop in Bonnie’s truck and she drives us back through the winding streets of a complex village. Turn, turn, turn.
We arrive at a second village and enter another communal building. Bonnie heads off on a mission of her choosing. A tall, wiry, athletic blonde man in his late 40s pulls me aside, guiding me through the full village at his quick, aggressive pace. He is a board member of the IASD, very angry that Bonnie has not attended the dream conference this year. He complains and complains about Bonnie, describing aspects of her character that I do not see, and do not agree that they even exist.
Day notes:
I am sure that the first part of the dream is about the Hollyhock retreat center that we are visiting in July, because Bonnie has worked so hard to figure out how we get to such a remote location. Thank you Bonnie.
I wonder if the (bored) IASD member is related to Patrick. Bonnie has asked Pat if he could host our dream group on Monday, but he has not replied to her email or my Facebook post. I think that is curious, because when I received the angry emails from him several months ago, he was furious that most of the Dreamsters (except for me) had not replied to his Facebook post about his book. I guess it is I who is abandoning the dream conference, since I am trying to wriggle out of hosting on Monday.
My tall, thin, athletic work friend in his 40s, John B., stopped by and chatted with me for half an hour today.
Tuesday, July 30, 2024: This is prescient. After the IASD conference in Tucson (2022) Bonnie did decide to stop attending.
