Chris shared another dream with me this morning: we are together in his old VW, the car he drove when I met him in Lowertown. He has a box “full of records” in the vehicle. They are so heavy we need help moving them. Two meanings for me: he can no longer use his albums (his records) because he has lost the base volume in his hearing. And his waking life medical records are extremely extensive. Heavy. We see his ENT at HCMC again tomorrow.
Plus, Chris has a dream fragment: his right arm, the one he lost when he was nineteen years old, is buried in wet cement, still attached to his body.
