Getting close to my first two journeys to Mayo Clinic, I decided to do a three-card tarot reading. All cards were from the major arcana. Past: Wheel of Fortune, present: Hierophant, future: Fool. I understand the Hierophant as a symbol of mentorship, a doctor or a healthcare system. Both the Wheel and the Fool are about shifts, but those cards are more mysterious to me. I like these web descriptions:
Wheel of Fortune
“A karmic shift that asks you to reconfigure your path and start anew.”

Hierophant
“What tradition would benefit you? What area of your life needs guidance?”

Fool
“Are you ready to leap? How will taking this chance change your life?”

Day notes:
I wonder if the Fool is about my loss of brain function. I become foolish.
January 6, 2025: I have my second acupuncture appointment tomorrow. One website connects the kidney meridian (what I am having treated) with the Fool.
