The first book written about Edgar Cayce (1950) was called “Many Mansions.” His mother had read this quote to him from the bible, The Gospel of St. John: “Verily, verily, I say to you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name, ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” Edgar replied with this quote from St. John: “Let not your heart be troubled … In my father’s house are many mansions …”
Reading this from the book “There is a River” reminded me of the many dreams I have had over the years of mansions. I have connected them with the spiritual realm, but this writing confirms it for me.
And “Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you” reminds me of Robert W.’s advice about incubation. Today I will write down my incubation to make sure I get it correct each time.
St. John’s Lutheran Church is down our block, on Nicollet. The tall stone roof is visible from our front windows.

Lovely!
