Synchronicity: Northwestern

(Easter Monday, April 6, 2026) waning gibbous moon Sagittarius

Today I listened to Katherine Bell’s podcast. Neurologist Ken Paller, a professor at Northwestern University (Evanston, Illinois), presented research on how lucid dreams and deep sleep benefit memory. He will be one of the keynotes at the Ashland IASD. He says “dreaming that you are dreaming” is a lucid dream. Those happen to me very often. Lucid dreams affect the left temporal lobe, specifically gamma-band activity (36Hz). Today my 40Hz sound-and-light gamma device arrives (recommended by a neurologist from MIT). At the end of May I will be participating with a Northwestern aphasia dementia study. It all feels like powerful synchronicity today, especially because I will be sharing three “mind” dreams tonight with The Dreamsters Union.
