(Friday, June 26, 2015) Moon: waxing gibbous Scorpio / Tarot: Ten of flames, the Horah
A group of us, friends, are standing together on the earth, waiting for the arrival of a huge flood. We can see the curvature of the planet, even though we are very intimate with the soil beneath our feet.
We watch the waters come. Liquid seeps over our toes, then rises to our knees. Soon we are floating and bobbing in the waves, which now cover the entire world. The sea is pleasantly warm and salty.
Since all land is gone, I know that at some point I will have to take a full breath of water into my lungs and surrender to the depths.
Out of the corner of my left eye I see a Great White Shark swimming toward me. Some part of my mind has forgotten the danger of predators, forgotten that humans are not at the top of the ocean food chain. I consider that the arrival of the shark could be a blessing, saving me from many days of suffering.
Day notes:
My two dreams today are thematically identical. Identical plots, only slightly variant in form.

(Wednesday, July 1, full moon Capricorn) Because this dream and the earthquake dream are so short, I think they may have precognitive qualities. I’ve been on the lookout.
On Monday afternoon I left work at 4. The western horizon was orange. “This means something,” I thought. By the time I reached Eden Prairie, the sky opened up and I was caught in the middle of a hailstorm. Dozens of cars tried to find shelter underneath the freeway bridges. There was no room for me, so I kept on driving. The wind was roaring in from the east in a near-horizontal wave (even though the clouds had come from the north and west). I managed to hide alongside a semi truck for a little protection.
When I arrived home the yard looked as if snow had fallen. White ice everywhere. Dream group was scheduled at Peter’s, so I left again at 6:30. Soon after I hit the road, a second round of hail fell on the house. The tarot card I drew Monday morning was the five of cups, The Storm.
Sharks have been casing the neighborhood ever since, trying to snag roof and siding repairs from the residents. I even got a call on my cell phone at work from one of the contractors. How did they get my number? That was extremely upsetting.
