Larry McGowan, my coworker who passed away two years ago on his way to work from a heart attack, is visiting me at my house, along with a 60-ish grey-haired woman I don’t recognize. The woman has a somewhat masculine presence. She is dressed simply in a long-sleeved knit shirt and trousers. Her hair is short and curly. She is not wearing makeup.
It’s pitch black outside and beginning to snow. Larry and the woman need to leave. I offer to come with them, and I take a few steps along the front walkway. But Larry declines my offer. In the dream I wonder if the woman is passing over to the other side, with Larry as her escort.
Day notes:
I have a fainting spell at work. It begins with sharp abdominal pain and cold sweats. My GP’s nurse thinks it is a cardio event, but I am unsure.
I dreamt of Larry’s passing right before Chris and I headed to the Black Hills and got stuck in Winter Storm Atlas. Larry died a few weeks after we returned.
07/15/2023: I rereading this dream and thinking it is about my coworker Cyndi dying of breast cancer. She did not have cancer when she started working at Ergotron.
