(Thursday, June 29, 2017) moon first quarter Virgo / tarot 10 of cups
I realize as soon as I awake that this is a past life dream. I am given a name and, for the second time, a photograph.
Chris, Cullan and I are moving into an older home that is new to us. It seems to be a large flat or row house in a large city. Chris is a very fussy architect or designer and leaves to work on renovation plans. I find a room that works for my studio but Cullan and I continue to look for the right space for him.
We come across a medium-sized bedroom with a highly feminine, floral decor: depression-era in style but nothing appears aged. The floor is covered in linoleum with a big, swirly flower pattern in muted greys and pinks. The raftered, vaulted ceiling is covered by square sections of flowered, textured fabric bordered by wooden trim. The fabric is embroidered with beadwork, as is the floral comforter on the bed. The atmosphere is like a friendly, happy garden. Domestic, crafty.
Cullan and I notice a framed picture resting at the edge of the bed. It is of an older, joyful-looking woman wearing colorful, flowered clothing, standing in front of a tall, blooming garden. The image is a eulogy created by the woman’s friends after her death. Her passion was interior decorating. A few lines of text describe her skills, her beloved personality and also provide her name, which was clear in the dream but when I awoke quickly started to fade. “Anita Starling” is as close as I can get. I saw a capital “A” in her first name. Her last name could be “Starling” or “Sterling.”
Is this Anita’s bedroom you are in? What a lovely place.
