A vivid, long dream full of details.
I am with dozens of friends and family members at a huge airbnb. The rental space is as large as some hotels, but the decor is more like a house because it is full of furniture, art, books and ornate decor.
It is time for us to checkout, so we are busy cleaning up and putting things back in storage drawers and closets. People are having fun and not working that hard. There is a burner on the top of the kitchen stove that I used incorrectly. It flamed for a few seconds but was not permanently damaged. I take a break and head outside.
The spectacular house is located on a beautiful hill next to a flowing river. Mountains are nearby. It feels like Montana or Colorado. Lots of folks are outside enjoying the gorgeous scenery. My brother-in-law Timm is relaxing. He offers his right arm to me and I offer my left. We hold hands gently as I observe the sky.
White clouds are scattered in the heavens but I notice that the sky is frozen, like a stalled element of a movie. As soon as I perceive the artificiality, it dissolves and the sky becomes real again. Clouds move slowly across the blue.
I walk back inside, to the upper floor where we have been tidying. An element of the dream has vanished for me, but I think it was about an odd communication device shaped like the clouds. I look at my friends and family and cheerfully say: “Hey, we can quit working. The owner will spiff up the rooms once we have left.”
Day notes:
I have had multiple dreams in the last year telling me my work is done. My brother-in-law Timm retired at age 62 because his family does not live long. I’ve recently been approached by three contract companies and they are very positive about my experience, but nothing has come of it. Like the freelance job working on photo-books that never transpired (thankfully).
