Adding An Upper Level To A Brick Building

(Wednesday, February 22, 2023, blizzard coming) waxing crescent moon Aries / tarot Tower

I dream of a rectangular brick building with a flat roof. A few people, men and women, are hanging about. It seems like a comfortable workspace.

I want transformation. I want a new level added that includes bedrooms and spaces for relaxation. But that feels impossible to me. How do you add an upper story to a structure made of bricks, stone?

I move down to the lower level, the underground. There is no floor, only black earth. I see a thick power cable that connects to the next floor. I follow the cable to the ground floor, and then to a new story that is under construction. A dark-haired master carpenter is creating the upper floor from wood. He is a pleasant and happy worker, tall and middle-aged.

I decide to head outside to take a look at the second story. It is sturdy and well-made. I assume that the addition of bricks will follow soon. That will require a master of brick and mortar.

Day notes:

Maybe all of the hard work I have been doing after losing my job is winding down. Medicare and UCare (for me and Chris) are completed (including the personal portals), taxes are completed. Paperwork. Maybe now I can relax, work in my clay studio and make some red “bricks.” A new story under construction.

Wood is the fifth China element: spring.

Rectangle symbolizes stability, balance, and structure. It can also represent security and grounding, often seen as a symbol of the physical world or material things.

A Jungian interpretation of floors: top floor is personal narrative, ground floor is the family we are born into, “cave” is ancestral lines.
