8/6/25. Not in My Courtroom!

It is time to go. I push Kelsi who is two and a half years old, in this cart around a large yard. We go to drop off things. One of the things is my dad’s golf club. We then look at this stationary that is in between two wooded book covers. My niece, LIndsay, has made the stationary and the covers. The stationary is made with beautiful water colors. One of the books has envelopes and the other does not.

Kelsi and I then go into a courtroom. There is a woman friend who is a lawyer. She is angry that this court case is happening. She yells, “Not in my courtroom!” Denise calls and asks me where I am. She is at a pharmacy. I was to stop there to get Kelsi some cream. I tell Denise that I am preparing a speech for the courtroom. I then go into the court room.

Day Notes: Debbie and Sheila left after a three day visit. I got irritated with Deb for talking too much. It feels like manic energy. It doesn’t feel like a “conversation”. I feel like I am supposed to be her audience.

8/2/25 Portraits of Dan and a Young Woman

I am in a show. It is an art and/or photography show. I have two portraits. One of them is my brother Dan. He is young and handsome. The other is a young woman. The portraits are not framed. I hold them under the back window of a car. That doesn’t work. I tell my mother that I wish I could stand them up to display them.

I go and come back. My mother has stood the portraits up in these white basket shaped containers made from heavy white poster paper. On the back of the portraits are written quotes from Dan and the young woman saying what they believe in.

My dad comes. He doesn’t notice the portraits. I then go to the show. Everyone is dressed up. Many women have on black outfits with dark pink belts. I feel under dressed. I have on an old outfit.

Feeling: nervous, then sad.
