Multiple videos of today’s shooting by federal agents and the ICE OUT protests brought up two sad synchronicities for me. A video that was seemingly filmed (shot!) from a second-story window, or maybe from a drone, showed a building one block away from Nicollet Avenue called “Icehouse.” Right on Nicollet, in the Eat Street area of the Whittier neighborhood, was an apartment building named “Good Dwelling.” A reminder of Renee. Today’s deceased Minnesota resident was an ICU nurse named Alex. ICU: I see you. Both Alex and Renee were 37 years old. 3 + 7 = 10, 1 + 0 = 1

Nicollet is of French origin and means “victorious people.” Cindy just reminded me that Renee’s middle name was Nicole. Nicollet is also a variation of Nicole/Nicholas, which means “victory of the people.” Nicollet Avenue is half a block away from my house. I am praying for victory.

I have asked for Edie the Herbalist to enter my dreams again. A woman whose appearance and personality match Edie was in my dream this morning. Dark hair, a bit stern. She is in charge of a large, circular area, perhaps being viewed from inside a building. I need help and I ask if I can work with her. Get a job. She agrees. I am worried that if Chris and Cullan join me and live in the workspace I will lose our house. So they stay home.

My contact with “Edie” is in the southwest end of the circle, which makes me think of the quarterly sections of medicine wheels. It is the lower left (southwest) side of my brain that is in decline.

Day notes:

Work to do. I had my first electronic acupuncture treatment today. I am trying to contact a particular neurologist at the Mayo who guides a staff of thirteen doctors at the Brain Adaptation and Stimulation Lab. The lab focuses on epilepsy and seizures, so perhaps they will not allow me to meet with them. Edgar Cayce, send me a blessing!

I have a Zoom meeting soon with a coordinator at Northwestern (named Elizabeth). I am planning to join one of their studies for PPA (aphasia). Every two years I will need to go to Chicago and stay for four days. They will pay my hotel rental and other expenses.

In December, shortly after Cullan lost his job, I did the tarot reading that I posted on this website (three of pentacles, King of Wands, King of Pentacles). I think of the King of Pentacles as the zodiac sign of Capricorn, which is Cullan’s sun sign. Early last Monday morning, when I first opened my iPhone, a photo showed up of Wyn and Oona cheering with their arms reaching high into the sky. An hour later, Cullan received an offer for the first job he had applied for. He got his new job in the month of Capricorn.

Yesterday I received a long, beautiful email from astrologist Deborah O. about the new moon in Capricorn. At the top of her newsletter was a photo she had taken of the Tor in holy, magical Glastonbury. I replied to her and included images of the clay Tor I created a few years ago.
