Synchronicity: Two Dreamers Sharing A Theme And Boys Playing Ball

(Saturday, January 17, 2026)

Last Monday I attended both of my dream groups. At Susan’s afternoon get-together I shared “A Lucid Dream Within A Dream And Future Generations.” A large part of that dream is about ancestry. In the evening Jeanne G. shared her dream, which was also about ancestors. I have been having ancestry dreams lately.

The third part of the dream I worked on with Susan’s team: “A large group of young boys are playing together, laughing and throwing a ball. I worry a bit that they will throw it too hard and hit Wyn, and I put my arm around one of the young athletes to give him a quiet warning: ‘Be careful.’ A father thinks I am too anxious about the game.” Yesterday I found out Wyn’s basketball season is cancelled because of ICE. It did feel like the boys were playing basketball in the dream. Wyn’s coach is the father of one of his close friends.

Synchronicity: Driving Limits

(Monday, January 12, 2026)

This morning the young woman who is taking care of our neighbor’s dog Maddie (they are on vacation) parked her car outside of their garage, which makes turning our car around and heading up the mutual driveway very difficult. I ran the doorbell several times with no answer. Finally, at about 9:30, she was on the sidewalk, taking the dog for a walk. I let her know it was best for her to put her Subaru in the neighbor’s garage so we could safely get up the icy, hilly driveway. She was very nice.

At 10:30 I had my monthly Mayo Zoom meeting. I learned that if you are diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer’s and have a car accident, you can be sued. There is a detailed process with the DMV to determine if you can keep driving. They check vision, hearing and all kinds of other elements, including an actual driving test following a city map.

Synchronicity: Removing ICE

(Thursday, January 8, 2026)

The day before the murder of Renee Good, I spent two hours scraping ice off of my sidewalk and driveway. Removing ICE. “Get the fuck out of Minneapolis,” as Mayor Frey said.
