The first part of the dream is vague: it has something to do with three positions (I thought of the three positions I sleep in now with my knee: both sides and my back. ) I am with a woman I do not know in waking life. We are trying to start a fire. The first and second times we cannot do so for some reason. On our third try, we crunch up newspaper and try to light that on fire. However, that doesn’t work. Then we gather this thick, but flammable kindling. We are in a bleak landscape-bare with rocks. We put the kindling in a small holes. We are just about to start the fire when I wake up.

The dream I shared two weeks ago had a fire in the second floor of a house. Fire is the theme again!

In my day notes, I was a bit depressed. I have had trouble sleeping through the night, being awake 2-3 hours.

I am with Pat and Jeanne at a conference. We are sitting at a table at a cafe. We talk about where Jeanne had an abortion. I thought it was at a small clinic. She says no. We also talk about how all the people at the conference are like all the people in the world. But as the conference goes on, we develop a group essence/personality. Pat gets up to go and forgets this small, metal object. I pick it up to give to him later.

Earlier, I was in a class where it feels like a dark tower. There are all these stairs all going up from the ground to the top of the tower and they are all around the tower. There are other people there as well. We take a step up, lift up a free weight and pump so many times. Then take another step up and pump again, etc. I climb so many steps, then leave. It is not fun.

Jeanne and I go to another weight lifting place. At first I think it will be the one I had gone to in the tower. Jeanne knows about this one. It costs $5. Some low cognitive people show the rest of us in line how to use the weights. Jeanne and I wait in line for our turn. The whole place is brightly lit. I am excited about this way to work out.

I am at Sheila and Rob’s house for the Superbowl. (sister and brother-in-law). There are about 4-6 other people there. We are all young. We all hang out by the side of the pool. There are two or three big screen TV’s by the pool’s edge. I say how fun to watch t.v. when in the pool. I go to the bathroom which is very small with just a toilet in the space and then return to the others. I am attracted to one of the guys.

I then go and explore. I see a pond with an outcropping in the distance, I walk to the left along the shore to get to it. I climb up it. It is made of old lava that has cooled. I am enjoying myself. I then go back to the group. I see an old t.v. set up for all of us to watch the game.

The highpoint is the outcropping. The nature of the pond and outcropping is very beautiful. It feels adventurous to go and explore.
