Fragment: Amsterdam Train

(Sunday, April 24, 2016) moon: waning gibbous Sagittarius / tarot: two of wands

I have traveled from America to Amsterdam with a coworker, waiting in an outodoor train or bus station. I am supposed to go to the local public television station for work.

People in the station speak varying degrees of English. There is an English version of the schedule posted on a wall.

Trains/buses go by and go by. None of them have my destination posted on the electric signs above the heads of the drivers.

My coworker seems unconcerned and eventually fades from my awareness. I look at the schedules several times but I don’t have my glasses and the text is small, blurry. I can’t decipher anything.

I begin to get anxious. I don’t want to shirk my responsibilities. I have come so far! A woman is sitting at a table, she seems official, so I walk over to ask for her help. The morning thunderstorm wakes me up.

Day notes:

I am not going to Amsterdam or Rolduc this year, but my dream coworker Bonnie is.

Funny that my tarot card today is the two of wands, the image of which is a man holding the world in his hands. World traveler.
