Fragment: The Water Is Safe

(Friday, July 11, 2025) full moon Capricorn / tarot nine of cups / oracle Commitment

Near sunrise this morning I dream of being a resident on the shore of a lake. The bay is shallow, although high, rogue waves periodically wash to the beach. I need to be a protector (wounded healer?) and travel to find a female who is in anxiety or danger. She lives across the bay, so I consider driving or swimming to find her. Driving feels safer because of the tall waves, the baby tsunami, but I swim out anyway. Because this part of the lake is not deep, when the rogue arrives it is not dangerous. I swim under and past it. There are more details, more people in the dream, but this is my fragment memory. Early morning dreams are often fragments for me.

Day notes:

Denisea did a tarot reading for me on Wednesday. Her house is so full of art it is very inspiring. We talked about our dream guides. Her guide is the Buddhist goddess Kwan Yin. The goddess often appears in Denisea’s dreams. I told her about my eight- or nine-foot tall guide and she said, “That is an angel.” She also said she had read something in a book about how he “has my back” but she could not remember the details.

If I wish, I can start working with a PhD Jungian therapist in September. That sounds just right for me.

  1. I am thinking about waves on water representing emotions. In the dream, the emotions are not a detriment, the dream ego just dives under them when they come. I guess the woman to be saved can be another person and/or myself. Maybe, the dream is saying, Jungian therapy is a good fit?
