(Thursday, February 5, 2015) Waning gibbous moon in Virgo / tarot: four of pentacles
The Dreamsters are in a pickup truck together. We are heading to Guatemala or maybe Argentina, somewhere people speak Spanish. Peter is driving, in his Bear Mode, speeding along a causeway or canal. Bonnie and Pat are in the cab, but Jeanne and I are in the open bed of the truck, bouncing around. I am a little scared. Jeanne is calm.
We park next to a large multi-story brick building that is shaped like an “L.” We enter a main floor restaurant, the door of which is at the intersection of the two wings of the building. The corner angle. Jeanne and I are wearing long, flowered cotton skirts and our feet are bare (bear feet?). I worry we won’t be admitted without our shoes but the wait staff “look the other way.” The restaurant has a Christmas tree in the center of the room as well as other holiday decorations. Fiesta time. A small, gruff boy stands against the outer wall; he is enjoying giving me a bit of grief. There is no language barrier.
Day notes: Chris and I went to the cardiologist today. The doctor recommended ablation, so we scheduled surgery for February 16. Jeanne’s son Scott has had multiple ablations, to no avail. Her daughter’s family is heading to Argentina today. The shape of the truck reminds me of the heart chambers: the small cab is like the atrial and the larger bed is like the ventricle. Pickup bed reminds me of hospital bed. Chris ordered a new bed from Room and Board. It arrives on Wednesday. The gruff boy is like Chris interacting with health care professionals.
