Synchronicity: Karl

(Tuesday, December 2, 2025)

I got a surprising LinkedIn contact yesterday from Heather O., who was the art director at Conklin when I started freelancing there in my late twenties. We texted each other today, and she said she is still in contact with our old friend Karl A., the writer.

A Toddler Who Needs Rest And Care

(Monday, December 1, 2025)

I share a bedroom with three others. They are all sleeping on their own beds. A woman arrives with a toddler, whose face I do not see. I think it is a girl. The child seems to have come from an orphanage, or some kind of non-profit where kids have lost their families through war or other horrible global events. Many of those children have serious health issues. This one too. I am the caregiver. I lay the toddler down on a small, single bed. But the other sleepers make too much noise, and I need to move her to a different room.

Twin Timeframes

(Saturday, November 29, 2025)

In this dream, timeframes coexist. It is ancient times, the era at the end of dinosaurs and the beginning of mammals. And it is also the present moment. I am standing inside of a large house, near the kitchen windows. Humans must be very careful about heading outside because of dangerous, wild creatures. The natural environment is green, full of trees and very hilly, with broad, sandy pathways that have been traveled by thousands of living beings.

Four little capsules pop up on the window ledge. I know they are medication needed by animals, so I take them outside and toss them on the ground. I go back inside. I see an older woman dressed in embroidered black clothing, quickly walking on the trail. She surprises me. I hope she is safe. She is brave.

Day notes:

An odd waking timeframe: I am sick on Monday, well on Tuesday and Wednesday, then even sicker on Thursday and Friday. Fine today.

Snowball needs one blood thinner prescription every day. The round pill needs to be cut into quarters. He consumes one quarter of a pill daily, placed inside of a clear capsule.

December 16: I shared this dream yesterday with Susan’s dream group. Susan’s interpretation was about the global stress humanity is experiencing at the present moment, and that resonated with me. It made my body shake. Today I am starting to work again on my Edie fairytale (especially inspired because of dream member Patty’s story about her completed children’s book). The woman with black hair and clothing in this dream seems to be a witch, even though she wears no hat. Edie.
