School Of Art, Safety Check And White Lights

(Saturday, October 24, 2026)

It is twilight outdoors. I dream of exploring the inside of a very long, one-story building full of multiple sculptural galleries. There are other people throughout, but I am wandering, inspecting on my own (carved, creative elements have mostly disappeared from my memory because they were the early point of the dream).

I move on to a charming little shop at the very end of the structure. It is painted and decorated in bright white. Well lit. I examine some delightful small art/play pieces designed for kids. I point them out to associates in the room: “These are wonderful gifts for children.”

We head out of the store together and make it to the exact middle of the building, the official entryway. Two inspectors sit at a table. Our ID cards are required to pass beyond this spot. When we hold our IDs in front of the scanning device, circular white lights pop up for just a second. This makes me anxious: I assume the flashes mean we are rejected, unable to move ahead. But the workers smile and wave us forward.

The dream shifts to the front parking lot. I am trying to find my car. I can’t quite remember where I left it so my companions are helping me look. I use my old car key to turn on the headlights. In waking life that process includes loud honking noises, but in the dream it is just the brimming, the bursting of the headlights. The round lights reveal my little Ford Focus hidden behind another parked car.

Day notes:

Lots of white light in this dream. Does my ZenWave 40Hz circular white light device “Find My Focus”? Move me forward? I started taking Lithium Orotate today, a low dose, tiny round white pill recommended by neurologist Dr. David Perlmutter. From AI: “A landmark study from Harvard Medical School (of mice, no human trial yet) found that a natural deficiency of the trace metal lithium in the brain plays a major role in the development of Alzheimer’s Disease.”

The dream building is almost identical to the Fridley High School I attended. It was just a block away from my childhood house, the same as Washburn High School is in my present life.

My grandkids just left to go visit the MIA (Minneapolis Institute of Art). They are going to meet Cullan’s girlfriend Amanda for the first time. There is a children’s section in the MIA gift shop. I often find a few Christmas presents for them there.

The art galleries remind me of the story I told during our last dream group. I mentioned driving many blocks along Lake Street and being inspired by dozens of beautiful murals along the way.

I have an email from Toko-pa that offers one-on-one dream Zoom meetings for $199 per session. That is expensive, but I would do it if I could dream more often than I do these days.

I moved all files from my hacked MacBook Pro to my Mac Mini and found some written dreams from years ago. I posted them on the blog.
