From a Bonnie dream: “You, Dan (brother) and an unknown, gentle, kind man were in my dream this a.m. You and Dan had made it over this canal, but it was too far for me and this other man to jump. We realized we had to walk to the left through the shopping mall which went over the canal to get to the other side. (You are hard to keep up with!)”
Friday I received a Facebook friend request from my high school boyfriend Dan (a kind and gentle man). It shook up a lot of old memories for me. If I hadn’t broken up with him, my life would have gone in a completely different direction. I can’t decide if I want to accept his request. I asked the tarot, in my usual three-card format, and pulled The Sun (left), The Lovers (center) and The Moon (right). All upright. It seems there is a benefit to befriending him.
Friday morning I dreamt of Bonnie at the shopping mall. That dream also contained a scene about Cullan’s father Sandy, whom I have known since high school and Dan knew too. Dan would have understood that Sandy would cause great damage. But I also have been thinking about the young women Dan dated after we parted. He managed to connect with two of the most beautiful and creative females in our artist clan. So I realized that I, too, must have been quite a catch for him. He was devastated at our breakup.
I am reading the book, Pregnant Darkness. It talks about the alchemical connection between the sun and the moon as being the goal in conjunctio. (The lovers). The cards seem so positive.
