12/31/23 Three Snippets

  1. I am talking with a man who is dressed like Shakespeare. We are in a small town. I talk about the interesting characters/people in small towns. He then tells me that his one year old son died. He is very emotional.

2. I ride home on a streetcar. I get help from the conductor.

3. My friend, Renee, is having a baby (Renee is about 76 and adopted children in Waking Life). We are sitting around a table with other women. We are all eating fruit and french fries. Renee’s husband has beginning dementia. He will not go on the road anymore for business.

My husband has beginning dementia. I live in a small town in Northern Minnesota and a larger town in Arizona, but still small. My husband and I had a stillborn son 35 years ago. I have been to San Francisco and have ridden on a streetcar there.

  1. Are these your New Year dreams, Bonnie? Even though they are snippets, they are full of information. I like the Shakespeare dream. I just saw “Wonka” with Wyn and Oona and I loved it. It was full of BBC actors I have watched for years. I am starting to try to convince Chris to get tested for dementia, but he is not worried about his memory, like his mother. Not that my memory is perfect.
