(Saturday, June 11, 2022) waxing gibbous Scorpio / tarot Hermit
I had a long dream with a powerful ending. I’ve forgotten most of the dream except the final scene with Wyn.
Wyn has come to visit Gram at her large, old house. My mansion. Right before he arrives I examine my long, thin slipper. The sole is raw clay that looks like a dramatically decorated birthday cake with a message in the frosting. The clay must have been applied to the bottom of the slipper with an angled icing spatula. There is a cursive sentence in the middle of the sole, surrounded by flowers.
This slipper is not a real one. I cannot wear it because it is very narrow. It is my reading device. The elaborate clay decorations answer my questions. I show the slipper to Wyn, and smooth out the clay. I tell him we will ask a question and carve it into the clay, but I realize the question is too long. There won’t be room on the sole for an answer. I wipe the clay again, with my hand, then write a brief question using one of my sharp pottery tools. The question might be, “who are you?” or “where are you?”
Wyn and I leave the slipper alone for a few minutes and when we look at it again, there is a short carved message: “in the sky.” I absolutely love those words and feel deeply blessed. I explain to Wyn that the messaging is coming from Spirit. Now I truly trust my intuition. I will for the rest of my life.
Day notes:
Cinderella’s slippers are glass. The clay firing process is clay – to glass – to stone, from what I understand. In the story, she loses one slipper.
