(Monday, May 11, 2026) waning crescent moon Pisces
Yesterday I watched a YouTube video by guys who are Bay Area twins and do tarot readings together. They were talking about a visit with their mom on Saturday (who is being cared for by their sister). Their mom is the same age as my mother: 90, almost 91. They said she had been very healthy for 90 years but now is at the end of her life. They think she will pass away before her July birthday. For some reason that was a bit of anxiety for me. Is this synchronicity for my mother?
And today I had my monthly Mayo Zoom meeting. This was about grief. A participant with Alzheimer’s said he only has two or three years left to live. He wishes he would be hit by a train. Another member, a former nurse at the VA, talked about a seminar at the U of M on VSED, Voluntary Stopping Eating and Drinking. I am for that idea, and found a book at the library to learn more about it. I do not want to end up in Memory Care or hospice with the inability to eat or breathe on my own.
