This dream takes place near a river or lake, in a rural area. Chris has a white pickup truck, like our old Nissan Frontier. He is driving near the shore, on the land, not on a road. I am in the back seat of the truck and I feel safe. Both doors are closed. The passenger door next to Chris is missing. I worry about his safety. He could fall out of the open, broken door, or something could fly in and injure him. He is unconcerned and considers himself a good driver.
I think about the setting of being by the shore, the transitional space. I feel the back seat is safe, but the dream ego is not in control. Chris is not worried about getting hurt. There is something about the passenger door being missing. Like a passenger is not allowed here.
