I am watching as an older woman who seems to be a shaman hang, a small spider over a man’s head. The spider dangles from a thread the shaman is holding about 2-3 feet over his head. He is in his forties with dark hair. The spider is making him feel sick. Is the spider poisonous?

I come back the next day. Now the man is underwater in a pool. A group of people take him out. At first I think he is dead, but the people revive him and he comes back to life. He survives it. it is decided the man will come to work at 10:30, three times a week. That will work out better for him.

Feelings: Nervous, scared of the spider and what it is doing to the man, Sad when I think the man drowned and then relieved when he is alive and his work schedule works out the best for him.

I worked this dream with my AZ group on 9/5/23. It does feel like an initiation that has helped balance him and he is ready to live a more balanced life. He has had to learn to trust that this initiation is safe and will heal him spiritually, physically and mentally. Some of the symbolism of the spider is creativity, personal growth, connection, past and future and self awareness. I wonder what happens when I go away. It feels like something is missing, like there should be a third ritual.

1. Linda Barber is creating three pieces of wall size art. They are all on the floor. She works on one piece and then another. Each one is about 1/5th done. The designs look like mosaics, however, she is painting the designs. Linda and her husband just bought a funky cottage. I think the art will go in there. I say I want a cottage!

2. There are three children; two boys and a girl. It is raining. They are locked out of their house. They all get wet, but it is fine. The girl is a free spirit.

3. There is some flooding in the basement. There are two rooms in the basement and it is the farthest room that has about one to two inches of water in it. Paul and I had been cleaning out the basement because we are moving. There are some things in the basement; some furniture, boxes, etc. randomly placed in the room. I am disappointed about the water. Paul doesn’t seem to be upset.

1. I am cleaning up a room in a construction site. Two workers paint a door on the outside. It is a metallic shade of pink. I like it. It needs two coats.

2. I am looking for a new house with Paul. We drive around and at the end we happen upon one.
